My 6' tall potted plant is in bloom now, June 2018. It bloomed for a month in April, then took a break to grow taller, and will do this several times through the year. I have it in a pot so I can bring it closer to my patio back door to enjoy the fragrance I find intoxicating at night. No diseases or bugs seem to bother it except an occasional snail after a rain that makes it up the pot to the leaves until I destroy it.

It's late October and my 8 foot tall plant is about to bloom any day. Because it grows in a 5 gallon pot on my patio, it's been cut back twice this year to stay manageable. The cuttings rooted very easily after 3 weeks in water and now have new homes with gardening friends.

Chantell On July 3, 2022 Potted up
Cutting from the original one that belonged to Sameena's dad was rooted and given me last fall. Over wintered inside. Potted up last month - seems to be doing well since pot was set outside.
Chantell On June 2, 2008 Obtained plant
I actually have 4 of these absolutely amazing plants. The oldest was purchased in 2008. 2 rec'd 2 years ago that belonged to my friend's father and 1 from Almost Eden that they list as Cestrum nocturnum 'Sunset Scentsation' gifted to me a few weeks ago...can't wait
erinncolleen On November 19, 2019 Transplanted
As I was getting it out of the ground I noticed the lower part of the branches are stems above the route is green. Does anyone know what that means or what I do?
tabbycat On March 15, 2024 Maintenance performed
Managed to save a cutting. Winters are hard on it. It's 12" so I put Bayer 3 n 1 plus eggshells & banana peels & coffee grinds to perk it up. I love the smell that's usually in July so hope for flowers again even tho its small

MrsBinWY On June 11, 2022 Potted up
2 or 3 into an F15 (pretty much same amount of soil as the milk jug had).
MrsBinWY On June 5, 2021 Cuttings stuck
Stuck cuttings in moist potting mix in milk juf. Don't remember for sure, but probably just put top half of milk jug on the bottom half and ignored the whole works for a while. Looks like didn't use any rooting hormone either.
