Hard to believe it was back in Sept. 2016, Avedon sent me two fans of this plant.
It was a slow grower, struggled to get going for the first year. Last year it was beginning to get its footing, and this year I hope it will come closer to its potential. I do have a note saying that the plant actually put out a bloom last year, but I took no photo, so I assume it was not very pretty and I was waiting for a better bloom, and the bloom never got better. The plant is looking stronger now than ever, so hopefully there will be some bloom photos posted this year. Being this plant was hybridized and grown near me, I was expecting better results, that is not always the case.

'Bonnie Fee Fi Fo Fum' was new for me in 2022. I received a nice-sized plant in the spring, and ... somewhere around midsummer... it did put out one or two blooms. But, as mentioned by Larry. this daylily needs time to settle its roots in and become better established. I, too, am waiting for better performance this year ... and, hopefully, prettier blooms.
Life is what happens while you are making other plans.
