Background history:

'Courts of Europe' is a semi-evergreen tetraploid introduced in 1996 by Petit.

I have grown this for many years. For a Petit intro, it was above the foliage and mine looked like the first picture. It woudl also throw the bitone look of the second picture. That usually occured later in the season. It is a slow increaser for me.

I got mine from @stilldew in the fall of 2017. Bloomed in 2018, seems like it was a later daylily (though it is listed as a mid-season), looking much like the first picture. Bud count was small, but it did set a pod and those seedlings are up and growing in the basement (Courts of Europe x Coral Majority). A pretty daylily, hope it survives the winter!
