I uprooted my 2 plants in the fall to bring them in the warmth. Bought 2 sunlight lamps & they did very well for 2 months.

Now, they are beginning to look brown and straggly. I water them well, not too much or little. Do they maybe need fertilizer? Please help! Cynthia

Can you post photos?

Sue, I guess the official name is Lysimachia or 'creeping jenny' too. All I know is they have been fine in 2 containers for 2 months indoors and now they're looking half dead.

I'll be home this afternoon and take photos to upload here. Thank you.

Creeping Jenny is a perennial plant in your area and may be going dormant or just dying because it is not meant to grow inside in winter.

Once your temperature warms, take it outside and give it some warmth and sun. I would bring it in if there was danger of frost. It should start growing if the roots are alive. Which is iffy.

That plant will do fine all winter in your garden. I have large area of this plant growing as a ground cover.
It is easy to grow if you leave it out in the garden all winter.
