I have had this plant in my garden for a few years now , believe it came from a trade .
Nice color and has multiplied enough I have shared with others
like the photos some times it looks more pink and sometimes more purple , but always a nice plant
..a balanced life is worth pursuit.

I've had BB since 2011. It needs to be divided but every year it seems I'm too busy with other things.
If I recall it took a little while to increase but not too bad. I have already chopped a chunk out of it for a friend.

I don't have a lot of "blue" daylilies. This is a favorite of mine. I don't keep good records of height and bloom size/count but (from memory) I believe it reaches the 22" with 5" blooms.

In 2014, a couple of my blooms were Polymerous, but I haven't seen any since then, so I'm not sure how common that is. Has it happened for anyone else in this thread?

My soil is very sandy and impoverished and the site is very hot and dry in July and August. I haven't gotten around to this area to give some compost or fertilizer, so my rate of increase is very low for this plant, but I do love its colour, so it is definitely a keeper.

I had Blueberry Breakfast in my garden for years it grew well and increase at a decent rate had a decent number of blooms. After years it was replaced with a taller tet as my taste changed along with wanting less diploids.
If you want to be happy for a lifetime plant a garden!

I've grown Blueberry Breakfast for a number of years. It blooms in July here and the frosted look it has is very cooling. It does bloom just above the foliage, maybe a little on the low side.

I have Blueberry Breakfast in a fairly shady spot under an Oak tree. It's lived there for at least 15 years, maybe more. I've never divided it until this summer ( or watered it or fed it). All of those things happened in September...well, watering happened all summer. Despite serious neglect and a bad location, it has always produced blooms for the mid season with no fuss. It will probably do a lot more next summer, now that's had a little TLC.

It's very short but as it's in front of the border, that's perfectly fine. I have always loved the color, there's really nothing quite like it, it's very distinctive. A cool blueish purple...

Update 2021. After division last September, Blueberry Breakfast had a happy season this year blooming from July 10 to August 4. All the plants were fed in Fall and Spring and are due now. It's clearly helped the flowers!

I added Blueberry Breakfast in 2021, but even so it did flower its first season in the gardens. I'll have to do a much more thorough inspection in 2022 to truly evaluate it, but on short acquaintance ... I kept it to the front of the border as it was not a very tall daylily (as mentioned by others).

It bloomed reasonably well for a first year in the garden, I expect much more increase in fullness of the plant (multiplying) and quantity of flowers, but have to say that it gives a great first impression.

The colour really is blueberry - looks like the fruit ... sometimes that waxy blue outer skin of the blueberry, and at other times, that raspberry-purple blue of the inner fruit. I have nothing else in the gardens with this particular colour - I would keep it for that alone, even if it had no other assets. But it bloomed well and I am looking forward to seeing it become well-established here.
Life is what happens while you are making other plans.

Oh, a really good year for BB! Blooming from July 8 to August 2, there were at least 52 blooms this summer. Such a great color!

2023 update…not a great year for BB. Only about half the blooms of last year. It is also dealing with a self seeded False Solomon's Seal that I allowed to grow in the location.
