Does anyone know what these white things are on my plumeria's leaves?
The leaves also seem to break because of this so can I do anything to stop this?
My plumeria is a fresh cutting which I ordered from a special store for tropical plants...

Thanks!

Little white cottony things are mealybugs.
Touch briefly with a cotton swab dipped in 70% Isopropyl alcohol. Rinse with plain water.

It's odd. They don't quite look like mealy bugs to me, Bill. Maybe @Dutchlady1, could take a look.

I also think it is not mealbugs, since it feels like little white grains, they are pretty hard and not a cotton structure.
It was there from the beginning they arrived, it thought it was maybe some damage from the transport and it was just something like juice from the plant.... At that point there were no leaves yet, now the leaves are growing but the white stuff seems to increase also so i wonder if I should do anything.

Yes, i live in Belgium and i keep the plumeria indoors.

Maybe it is just hardened juice or sap. Kind of crystallized.

Sorry for the late reply. I was traveling.
I honestly cannot say what that could be. I would clip off the affected leaves and spray with a mild insecticide, and see what the new leaves look like when they come in.

Maybe another small pest is biting off chunks that cause sap to ooze and crystallize.
