Can anyone help me ID this Texas tree? It flowers, but sets no fruit/nuts/seeds.

Looks like an Ash (Fraxinus sp.) to me, though not a species that grows around here. Those are pinnate compound leaves, and they look like they are opposite in arrangement along the branches.

Ash often have male flowers on separate trees from the trees which have female flowers; that means Ash trees are dioecious. Holly trees behave this way, too.

You might have an Ash tree with primarily male flowers, thus no seeds.

You should prune off a chunk of that tree, and photo the detailed parts more closely. Show the flowers, the leaves, the stems, the arrangement of how leaves are attached to the branches, and the leaf scars along the branch from previous years leaves.
