I was hesitant to buy this one, fearing it wouldn't be hardy here, but it has proven itself to be extremely hardy. It has no problem enduring our long winters.

The bloom is fabulous, too!

Hasn't been vigorous here, but I still have a piece of it. Last photo was from 2017. Always a bit shorter than registered. Perhaps it likes the protracted cold better than the usual freeze/thaw we tend to get here (but not last winter).

Valerie, the specs put this cv with very high bud count, over 30. Do you have an idea of bud count for our zone? Is the bloom consistently lovely as in your picture of it or is it splotchy?

I haven't found it to be splotchy here. I will keep a closer eye on it for bud count, height, etc. this year.
