This was the first of Karol's daylilies to make it home in my garden after I saw it in a display garden. My picture is in the database here, IMHO this is a lovely keeper.
If you want to be happy for a lifetime plant a garden!

Have had Light of the World for a long time. It's planted in the small garden across the drive way where I don't water a lot during dry spells. Still, it keeps on going. Love it!
It hasn't bloomed yet this year (but will). Here is a picture from last year.
I planted this in May 2022 from Keast Daylilies. It turned around and popped out 8 beautiful flowers between July 22-30. I just love them! Most of my blooms were lightly doubling in the center. By October, I had 3 fans with a slight case of rust
2023 update… great year for Light of the World. It bloomed from July 5- August 14, with at least 38 blooms. By October it was up to 9 fans. Unlike many Emmerich cvs, this one seems to multiply quickly.
