A lovely daylily, hardy here despite extreme cold often without snow cover.

Edit: I should add that the colour is not as yellow as my picture, it's more like the DB ones above.

This was the first of Karol's daylilies to make it home in my garden after I saw it in a display garden. My picture is in the database here, IMHO this is a lovely keeper.

One of the first of Karol's that I added to the garden, it's a good and reliable performer here and one that is not going anywhere

Vigorous. Bounces back quickly after division. Has rebloom scapes this year.

Have had Light of the World for a long time. It's planted in the small garden across the drive way where I don't water a lot during dry spells. Still, it keeps on going. Love it!

It hasn't bloomed yet this year (but will). Here is a picture from last year.

I have had this one about 4 years, a great daylily. It has multiplied well and always blooms nicely. Nice height for me too, definite keeper

I planted this in May 2022 from Keast Daylilies. It turned around and popped out 8 beautiful flowers between July 22-30. I just love them! Most of my blooms were lightly doubling in the center. By October, I had 3 fans with a slight case of rust

2023 update… great year for Light of the World. It bloomed from July 5- August 14, with at least 38 blooms. By October it was up to 9 fans. Unlike many Emmerich cvs, this one seems to multiply quickly.
