Becky Lynn has been a favorite from the very start of my collection. It never fails to show up on July 8th.

Though I don't count buds or branching, Becky Lynn has many buds.

I always liked the white midrib on Becky Lynn. However, as one hybridizer noted, for years hybridizers were trying to get rid of white midribs. They may be coming back in fashion.

Becky Lynn came into my garden in '13. In '15, the terrible winter, she was reduced to a little bit of a thing but survived {when others did not} and has been very slowly increasing ever since. Here in the north, US zone 4, she grows to 22" tall, slightly over registered, blooming mid-to late--July, a bud count of 10 on 2 way branching.

I used to grow Becky Lynn in the 80s. Always a favorite, a good garden plant. My friend Mike Ruggiero used to use it in his hybridizing and has a couple of registrations out of it.

This is one I like named Jane Choate.

Becky Lynn survived many years of complete neglect in my garden and still bloomed. However it suffered the winter of 2015. It did not bloom the next two years as it had barely survived. It is slowly coming back but has bloomed poorly in 2018 and 2019. It is a tough daylily, but is not particularly suited to my climate. We have also had two very rainy years in 2018 & 2019 so that may be why it hasn't rebounded faster as it is used to much drier conditions.

I have had Becky Lynn in my garden for many years despite being dug and moved three times, she still survived and continues to do well. It has been a favorite of mine for years as well.

Becky Lynn is one of my oldest dls. She has been completely neglected yet still cheerfully blooms early every season. I'll post a pic of the whole plant I took on July third this summer
