Ooo... I received this as a bonus last fall. I'm skeptical because it's Evergreen and I'm kind of far north. Anyone in zone 5 grow this successfully? It does look like it survived my first winter, but it was pretty mild until this last week.

This daylily is always a standout in my garden--and very prolific! I'm in Zone 8a and near hybridizer James Hall.

I purchased this plant last March from jon when he had his plant sale here on NGA. It was one of the earliest plants to bloom in my garden this year and one of the brightest. The scapes are still a little short, not close to 30 inches yet, but hoping that after this year it will be closer to reaching that stat.
