Morning all. Just love these ''maiden hair" ferns. This is Adiantum "Margaretta". What cultivars are you growing?

Only the native Northern Maiden Hair Fern Adiantum pedatum. I do think they are beautiful too.

I have two types, Adiantum jordanii, native to California, and Adiantum pedatum, not native but there's lots of them growing everywhere.

Both are part of the greenhouse weed fern collection which includes Squirrels Foot Fern, Boston Fern, Mother Fern, Holly Fern and most recently, a Staghorn Fern...plus a few I haven't identified yet. Hilarious!

There used to be a bronze colored Maiden Hair advertised. I really wanted one of those but never found one. Now, I can't even find a photo on the interweb.

Adiantum pedatum is one that I don't have Gary.Since moving interstate, cool climate to temperate, a year ago, my maidenhair fern collection has grown dramatically.Perhaps Upwards of 20 different cultivars.Daisy, is your "bronze colloured" Maidenhair fern that you seek adiantum peruvianum "Silver Dollar"? New fronds take on a pink tinge before changing to green.Or is that too much of a stretch? Adiantum peruvianum "Silver Dollar".

I believe it was regular sized and stayed bronze but, its been years since I've seen one.
