Mahogany Magic is a great plant. No splotching, plenty of blooms, grows well, just good all around plant. I moved it last fall, not dividing it, but added fertilizer and compost. I probably should have fertilized it before. I am seeing branching that I never saw before. I have never fertilized my plants, they always seemed to do well. I fertilized some spring 2019 and again this spring. Some plants made no difference, others had more flowers and better branching, like Mahogany Magic. It started blooming the June 5 and still plenty of buds.

Grows well and reliable. I like the color a lot; find it distinctive. Individual tastes. This year taller than registered. Bloom is usually close to 5 inches.
