Gobbledegook is a lovely daylily in my garden. I have only had it since July 2018 and it bloomed for me that first year and both seasons since. I enjoy the prism type applique pattern against the creamy white of the petals. Pollen is very fertile and I have made the observation that the pollen ripens earlier in the day than most others and thus the bees are huge fans of this one. If you decide to use it for hybridizing, you may have to cover the bloom or the bees will have the pollen before you do. Mine has been a bit shorter than registered (more like 30"), but that may be because it hasn't had enough time to be a fully mature plant (perennials generally take a full 3 years to hit their stride). I have seedlings from this one that were planted this spring so maybe some of them will bloom next year in 2021 Crossing Fingers! . I am curious and looking forward to seeing the children out of this one. All in all, it has performed well enough here to stay.
