I have had this plant for 3 years. It is healthy and quite attractive. In other words, I like it. I also like it because it is tall. I hate to bend over when looking at a flower:)

I have heard some people complain about scapes flopping, and mine did the 1st year. I have not had real problems since then, although I do remember 1 scape falling over when several blooms opened the same day. It rebloomed nicely this year too. I think this was the 4th year in my garden, it has multiplied enough that I have shared it twice.

Last year was my first summer for this one and it was floppy. I'm hoping the scapes are stronger next year. The blooms were good just floppy.

I got Navajo Pony in 2015 and really love those blooms, but alas, it does lean as you can see in the first picture. No rust, each bloom near perfect, and it blooms for about 3 weeks between late June and mid-July in my zone 6b garden. It did multiple well and produced a lot of scapes. I have not seen rebloom on it, which is not unusual for me.

Leaning scapes are splayed out all over the area.

These next photos show the same bloom on a scape from 2019. This scape did not lean and shows the 3-way branching. Probably more like 10-12 buds per scape instead of the registered 16-20 in my garden, but I don't fertilize or water a lot.

Lots of blooms at once makes a pretty bouquet.

If this one leans any more in future years, I may get rid of it, but it will be very hard to cull with beautiful blooms like this.

I purchased NP in spring 2019, single fans, and they bloomed the first year. I never expect blooms the first year, especially a single fan. It has not yet reached it's full height but the blooms and rebloom this year (2020) where spectacular. I did spread it's pollen around quite a bit onto plants with strong scapes. Yes I agree that the scapes do lean over when the buds open. I ordered it during the winter of 2019 and again that spring so I ended up with 2 that year both single scapes. Whistling Guess I just had to have it. Hilarious! The pics are taken in 2020, and they had multiplied very well.
