A beautiful pastel with, what I would call, textured veining. Seems a bit shy of 6 inches here. Would be nice if it were a few inches taller.

It is a wonderful pastel polychrome which frosts out to white by the end of a hot day. Blooms are always perfect. Very tailored look. I am always surprised when such a beautiful pastel has a purple parent.

I've had Magic Lace for nine years now and it does have pretty blooms, but as mantisOH said, I wish it were taller.

It is not in a very good spot in my garden. It gets several hours of shade and is next to a walkway, hemmed in by H. 'Mister Lucky' on the left and H 'Aztec Beauty' behind it, so it has not flourished like it probably should. This picture shows what I mean. It really needs its own space to shine.

I have not seen rust on it, even though the database says it is susceptible. Just going off my pictures of it, I would say that it is between 2 and 3-way branching with about 12 buds. I don't have a good picture of that.

Magic Lace is actually one that I don't plan on keeping much longer just because I don't care for the height with that large bloom. However, the blooms are beautiful, open up well and are almost always spotless.
