I love this daylily too! I received a double fan of Dragon Fang in 2017 and it multiplied to at least 6-8 fans in 2020. It is registered as Mid-Late and blooms between late June to mid-July in my garden, so that is about right. I have not seen rust on Dragon Fang, but usually don't have a problem with rust anyway. It is registered as fragrant, but I have not noticed a fragrance so will have to check on that in the coming season. I don't usually get rebloom on many daylilies and have not seen rebloom on Dragon Fang either.
Not a great picture below, but several blooms on 7/8/2020 around 6am, so for me that is an EMO (early morning opener). Showing a little splotchiness on most or all blooms. All of my other pictures of daylilies from that day look good, so I am not sure why all of these have spots. And all my other pictures of Dragon Fang look good too. Other daylilies in this picture - Mystic Amethyst in the back left and Autumn Jewels in the back right. Colors for all three are pretty close to what they look like in my garden.
Branching is 2-3 way and bud count is between 12 and 18. Height is right around the 28" mark as stated by the registration.
i think Dragon Fang looks more red-violet than purple. And the teeth are gorgeous.
