I bought Paco Bell in 2017 from Oakes. It flowered its first year and looked great right from the first bloom
This is its FFE, looking perfect. Paco Bell is very Hardy and floriferous here ( 6a),
Throwing out weeks of bright yellow and brilliant red flat bagel shaped blooms, it has a cute red ruffled picotee that matches the eye. The red is a true Primary red, no hints of blue or purple, sort of unusual. The foliage stays pretty healthy for me too. It was so successful that last Fall I had to dig up and replant part of it because it was now blocking my stone walkway. I hope I didn't bum it out but it looks fine this Spring. Lots of fans, will probably pop out even more flowers. This is the only Salter that I've had for long enough to be impressed by...
I really like this cheerful, no nonsense performer. If you like yellow and red for weeks on end, you'll like Paco Bell ( and I love the name!)
