I received Exotic Starfish in spring of 2020 as a single fan. Now in fall of 2021 it is 5 fans, despite being moved twice. Last year it did not have many flowers, but it did rebloom. This year the flowers did not look as good due to being moved in late spring. The flowers looked much better last year, maybe not quite so vivid as above, but I expect next year should be an improvement as I have no intention of moving it again.

Bought Exotic Starfish in the fall if 2019 as a double fan. It held it's own and bloomed 2020, The bloom does catch your eye for sure. 2021 it increased to 6 fans and bloomed well again. It has not reached 36 inches in height yet but also not in the best part of the garden. Bud count is 8 but it is not established yet. I know some require a few years to reach full potential. Pollen fertile for sure, have not tried to set pods on it yet. All in all I am pleased and would recommend it to someone in cooler climates.

Remarkably colored, vivid large flower with slightly recurved segments. It is indeed a standout. However, in its brief history here, there is a low ratio of scapes to fans.

Exotic Starfish arrived in Spring 2019 as a single fan from Northern Lights. I thought it was planted in a pretty good area, but it didn't do much, except the few flowers were very striking. It was moved that fall and last year, there was an increase in fans and flowers, but not much. I hope 2022 will bring a big improvement, as I like it very much. Gossard daylilies usually do quite well here, so maybe this one just needs more time.

I received two small fans this spring, one did bloom with 3 flowers and I used the pollen sucessfully, even managed to set one pod.
