I just got this plant back in Sept. 2020, so too early to report much on it. It did impress me as being a plant that was very strong and would probably end up being an outstanding performer in the garden. I will try to report more this year.
Just checked to see when Crazy Miss Daisy was planted here, either spring or fall of 2015. The above picture was probably from 2017 or 2018, give it a few years to get going. Since there's more shade and likely competition from tree roots going on here now, CMD is not putting out as many flowers. So, time to look to relocate to a better area. It is a lovely daylily, and deserves to be somewhere so it can show what it can do.
I only had it for a couple of years before it died in the pot where I was growing it (extremely bad winter). It had incredibly high bud count and branching both years it bloomed here.
