Rich, saturated color on a plant with good height and reasonable vigor. Generally blemish free, though occasionally minor blemishes. I would prefer a slightly larger bloom than its 5-5.5 inches, but it demands attention in the garden.

In the new format, I am finding that some of my pictures won't upload, though they readily do so on other sites.

I have this one in a prime spot, I bought a ( sf ) like I do with most later introductions ( hard to get in earlier days ) in 2018, this one is a very slow increaser which has not shown me much yet. I will give it this year to show me what it has or will have to think of moving it to another place or out of the garden altogether

Interesting, Chuck. Starting from a single fan can sometimes be difficult. I got mine also in 2018, but it was around four fans. I have divided already, and it needs division again. I have had some things that took forever to establish from single fans. Warmer than you, but little snow cover, winter temps to zero, and lots of freeze/thaw. I see from the database that someone else in 5A had some problems. We will see what happens after this harsh winter, but so far, none of the signs of winter tenderness--short scapes, low bud count.

Mine started coming around this past summer and had its best bloom season. But you are right, buying a ( sf ) has its drawbacks but it has allowed me to get most of my later Daylilies at half the cost. In return meant that in my case I went out and bought another one and another one which is called an addiction in medical terms ( lol )
