'Dimensional Shift' has been in my gardens for several years (reliably hardy for zone 3), where is begins blooming about the 1st week of July and is still cheerfully flowering at least three weeks later. It's one of a very few that actually does send up new scapes and will rebloom this far north.
Oddly, it tends to actually be a bit taller than the 26-inches listed but the scapes are strong and sturdy, holding the blooms well above the foliage.
And, although the descriptions states: "chromium yellow with purple eye and purple edge with white shark teeth above lime green throat" I often find the bloom a paler colour ... though, at the right time of day and in the right lighting, you can see the yellow they describe. I think the colour deepens over the course of the day.
Distinctive and showy, 'Dimensional Shift' stands out from across the yard. It's a keeper.
