Annie,

Funny you wrote about pots with loose handles. 2 days ago, I noticed a big crack in a handle on my 2-quart pot. Had this pot set for years and years. Anyway, I went to Walmart and bought a new 2-quart pot. Nothing expensive but looks durable. I didn't want a whole new set of pots although my hubby suggested it.

Didn't know you were wearing braces on your teeth. And what a lovely thing your orthodontist did in giving you a parting gift! There are still nice people out there Smiling

Take care,
Jane

I guess it's part of getting older, a lot of stuff we own is also getting older too! I inherited so much kitchen "stuff" too, I've got things from WWII! Next time I buy a pot though, I'm looking for bolted on handles.
Yes, I am very pleased with my new smile and what a relief to not have those wires in my mouth. First thing I did was order in Chinese...first time in 2 years I dint have to spend an hour afterward picking rice out of my teeth! *HA*
I am not "country" I am "landed gentry."
