This plant is just so elegant! Yes, very old school and the bloom is not that large but the flowers are almost always perfect. This year it bloomed for most of July with at least 30 flowers. It's relatively tall, so it shows up well in the front garden where most blooms are shorter. It deserves whatever awards it received. I've never seen any rust on it either.
