Not an informative comment given that I don't grow this - yet. The database has a lot of lovely photos of it. I especially liked the one by @Joy that showed a clump with scapes and branching visible! šŸ‘šŸ» Always helpful. It seems a little top-branched but the scapes don't lean, that's a plus. It certainly makes a show when a lot of flowers are open!

Does this need deadheading to look good?

An eye catcher. One that you spot from a distance. Grows well here lots of blooms. Scapes are strong and hold up the blooms well, on an exceptional bloom season it has leaned a bit. I haven't used it for hybridizing, no reason why except not sure what I would pair it with. I have more options over the next couple years so probably try it soon. Many friends have asked for a piece so I can say it is a popular one. 36 inches tall with a decent size (8 inch) bloom just like the stats list.

New in my garden last Fall, consequently do not as yet have information to post. I will try to come back to this one after it has had a season or two of growth and bloom.

Same for me, was planted last Spring. Hope it blooms this summer! I know it was still at two fans this October and slightly rusty from the outbreak of 2022.

This one grew for many years here, and my first seedlings had this for a parent because it had great branching and bud count. The form was a bit too "tailored" for my taste, more of a star shape rather than twists and curls, and it passed that on to all its progeny. Good garden plant.
