Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Alabama Swing')

I planted this very tiny little fan in late October 2022, the plant just sat there, I was thinking the little fan was not going to make it.

By February it was just starting to grow again, even though now it was even smaller.

But on the 13th of this month it was looking much better and actually put out a decent looking bloom. I was very busy and did not have my phone or camera and had to leave and did not get a photo of the first bloom. Maybe after the dig tomorrow I will finally have a little time and hopefully it will be blooming. At least I could confirm it was the correct plant. Something that has not always been the case with a few of my new plants from last year.

Weeded more beds today...not too hot with the mild [for TX ] May weather.
