I do not think mine has bloomed yet this year, maybe I should check:) Nice tall plant that sometimes flops. I think it flops because the blooms are BIG. Last years photo...

My new one in TX bloomed this year but too late (after 6/20) to see as I was already Up North.

I saw this in one of the gardens at this years National and decided I am going to have to have it in my garden. It was the most impressive clump in that entire garden to me.

I almost got this one last year, but didn't. Such a pretty bloom on a nice tall scape, but sad to hear that it sometimes flops. Many of the taller daylilies in my garden that sit just south of my neighbors woods seem to lean a little like they are reaching for the light. Not saying that is what is happening with yours Frank, but since I've gotten more taller ones, it seems to be an issue here.

The daylilies in that garden all lean west because they get morning shade.
Big Birds Friend is front and center, 'Jack and the Beanstalk' is to the right and 'Autumn Minaret' is in the background.

'Autumn Minaret' with its smaller flowers never flops.

Oh yes, the prevailing Northwest wind has a clear shot at these yellow beauties:)
