A Verdant Desire is one of my favorite yellows- always fresh-looking and lemony. It's a tet that looks like a dip. Initial blooms show the greenest throat here. I like symmetry and can usually count on it to have that even when petals are in the mood to quill or curl. This is from 6/12/22:

Reliable rebloom. You can see wide branching and an instant rebloom scape progressing here (6/27/22):

Petals will show paler edges, especially in warmer weather -6/26/22:

Ruffling on petals and diamond-dusting add to the interest. Early midseason, so note the green throat (6/13/23):

Here's a pic showing branching. 6/21/23:

It is pod possible but difficult for me. The best chance is with the first blooms on a scape. I don't have stats on scape height and budcount, but I don't provide heroic culture so it is expected that here the metrics aren't as good as registration details would indicate.

Increase has been good for me and I really like the dormancy of the plant habit. It has attractive dark green foliage too. Three years ago, I planted it next to orange Bob Marley and orchid Life Goes On, and it really complements those shades.
