Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Terry Lyninger')

I have grown 'Terry Lyninger' since 2011 (along with quite a few other Carpenter "evergreen" daylilies). Considering that it rarely gets any added fertilizer, no water other than rainfall and I'm sorry to say much less than sufficient weeding it has increased and flowered.

An awesome pattern that was much in demand back in the day when this was first introduced but it left my garden rather quickly as it was too short for my tastes and the blooms were slow to open and often had wonky petals and/or sepals. It was a vigorous plant that increased well.

Scapes are short, but I love the look of it. When I first got it, for some reason I thought it was tender. It has been quite hardy and multiplied well. Has a more modest bud count than supposed to have, but still in the teens and I am happy with that. Usually reblooms a bit too.
