Received @DraDiana's package today. There is only 1 package outstanding and that is from @JessabelleJLH and there is a chance we may not receive it in time if at all.

I was in contact with Jessica right after the swap ended. She was away from home receiving medical care and there was a chance she would not get back home in time to send her seeds by the deadline. I have not heard back from her since so we can do 1 of 2 things and I will put it up for a vote:

OPTION 1: I can return your seeds packed for Jess under the assumption we won't hear from her soon.

Option 2: I can hold Jess' seed package until I receive her seeds and then send out each persons seeds via regular 1st class mail.

Please let me know what you each would like to do? The outgoing seed packages are packed and ready to send otherwise. Once we have a consensus I will send them out.

Option 1 seems like the better solution to me. Mailing each person's seeds later would be a lot of work for you as well as extra expense. I hope Jessica is doing well and can join us for the next swap.

*edited to add: I understand a health emergency as I have had my share. I don't mind at all if you decide to send the seeds I sent for Jess on to her and will contribute toward the postage.

I agree It seems like the best option for all is to go ahead and proceed without JessabelleJLH. Since you haven't heard from her, there is no way of knowing when that will be.

I'm sorry that she is having medical issues. Please send my best to her when you do hear something. Group hug

Can you send Jess the package that goes to her which has our seeds to her, and just sending us our packages without her seeds to us, since she has this medical situation? I hope she gets better soon. Prayers for her.

Hi All,
I agree with using option #1 in general.

I would also be happy to send my seeds for Jess to her anyway, hoping she'll be well enough to plant them later, as @maryjoz suggested.

But I guess, Debra, you would not have any funds from her to cover that? You shouldn't have to take on extra expenses.

Sad to hear she is having medical problems. 😞 Please send well-wishes.

Looking forward to my treasure chest of seeds! Lovey dubby
Pat

Edit: PS There's the possibility Jess won't be able to plant them and they'll be wasted. With my seeds for her it's OK, none very valuable.

Edit: PPS I checked my bought list. 7 choices were from Jess. All in the "will be nice to grow" list, none on my "get in swap or pay ca$h" list πŸ˜„. So there won't be any blanks in my plans that I can't fill with something else. Still perfectly happy to send my seeds to Jess. Call them "get well" gifts.

I'm also in agreement to send Jess her seeds. Once you hear from her, she may be happy to send you the postage, and hopefully able to garden. I really don't want any seeds back. Rolling my eyes.

I don't mind if you send my seeds to her either. At worst you'll be out $10.60. However, sending hers to us individually isn't a good idea unless she has offered to cover all your postage (which could run between $40 to $100 depending on the number and sizes of the seed packets). I do hope she's going to be okay.

Whatever works for the group is fine. I had none that I was sending to her and only had 4 coming from her I think. Hope she is doing okay again

Option 1 sounds best to me.
I pray she recovers and gets back to her old self and back to gardening.
Also we can contact her individually and work out seed details individually if she recovers and makes contact and is still interested after the ordeal she's going thru.

Personally, I'd be ok with you sending her seeds out to her. They might help her feel better. And I'm not worried about getting any back from her. Things like that even themselves out. But, I am ok with whatever the group desides.

What a bummer 😞 I wish her a speedy recovery! Whatever everyone else wants to do is fine with me, I don't believe I had any seeds for her.

I had no seeds for her and only 3 packs coming from her. It's really ok whatever you decide but I'd rather you didn't trouble yourself to send her seeds to me. You've had a lot to do and I appreciate all you've done. I hope she's well and can enjoy the fall swap.

I don't think I was clear before. I too am thinking seeds could be sent to her, but I forgot to say you wouldn't need to send her seeds to us. We all got so many. At least for me, I am fine without getting hers back. I agree with Scooterjen, and hope this doesn't become extra trouble for you.
