Lovely! Lovey dubby Lovey dubby

It's been a long time since I've made Roselle jam but it sure is good stuff. Lately I've used Roselle for making a tea since it's good for keeping blood pressure down.

I love the idea of growing a full raised bed of them. I'm like you, I only want to put as little sugar as needed to make it taste good. I'll have to give your recommended cultivar a look!! Thumbs up

Thank you. You know I was thinking this would be yummy blended with orange marmalade. It also would be good when used as a glaze for meats.
I didn't save seed from this year's crop but if you decide you want to try St. Kitts let me know. I will share some seed. I think I also have a couple others but don't recall the names. These seem to be more productive.

I may take you up on that, Kristi, depending on how motivated I can get this year. It seems like I'm always more motivated on the seed-sowing end, than I am getting the beds prepared and planted in the ground. Hilarious!

I like adding orange to my homemade cranberry sauce, so I bet it would be good in roselle.

One year I made some Bergamot herb infused Roselle jelly. It was quite good during the holidays as a stand-in for cranberry sauce. Interestingly, Bergamot is also the name of a type of citrus that is used in Earl Grey tea. I don't think we have Bergamot citrus available anywhere here but that would probably be a good one.
