A Cold Snap Stops Everything for a Week

By NEILMUIR1

Everybody seemed happy in the sun. Instead of looking down at the ground on their way to work, people held their heads high and were stopping to look at the wonderful spring flowers. Then it became overcast and the rain started; cold days and very cold nights set in for a week. On Monday morning we all awoke to clear blue skies; the sun came out, and everything was suddenly happy once again.

Neil, what a tour guide you make. The narratives that you do with each is amazing with bits of history and humor.

Thank you.

Nancy

Dear Nancy, thank you for the kind comments. I have been busy and have gone off drinking cups of tea for a while, for obvious reasons!
I do hope you are well and everyone is OK?
Kindest Regards.
Neil.

Dear Sharon, thank you very much indeed. That is high praise indeed from one as brilliant as yourself at writing and Articles. After Dave's kind comments on my last Article; it has seemed to spur me on to doing a bit better, and to give good pictures with some clear text, with a touch of History and a little bit of humour as Nancy says. I am hoping that people enjoy it as much as I did doing the photos and meeting some wonderful people, plus drinking so many cups of tea!
I also seemed to amass a lot of pictures, so here is one not on the Article just for you!
Sarah is not best pleased as; the Clematis has taken over the washing line and made an arch for itself, she cannot smell anything at all, plus I will not let her touch the Clematis till it has finished flowering.
Going backwards from the photo it has gone along the back wall taken over the Japanese Arbor and gone into next doors garden, it is a good job that they like it.
Sarah claims it is like a blizzard in the garden, well it may be so, but a beautiful and very scented one.
Kindest Regards.
Neil.
