Some are starting up.

This is Summer Glow with my "Heirloom" rose in the background, and "Judy Garland" off to the corner. Got these as tiny plugs a few years ago from MamaJack's co-op.

Thumb of 2014-07-10/Skiekitty/a3c14a

and my Agastache cana with a "Charisma" rose, purple rain salvia, "Betty Boop" & "Ruby Ruby" roses in the background.

Marilyn - I'll get better pictures with my real camera tonight. These were just quick shots with my phone and are definitely not good enough for the data base.

Nice plants. I love agastaches, almost as much as the critters that feed from them. And I love the critters that feed from them.

Karen - What eats agastaches? I sometimes want to take a nibble myself.. they smell SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO good..

I noticed that the Acapulco Rose series smells more strongly & slightly different than the Pink & Purple and the Yellow / Pink have hardly any scent at all!

Toni,

I think she means the Hummers getting nectar, at least that's what I thought.

ooh.. I misread it.

You know, last year, I saw a million & one hummingbird moths. This year, nada. Sad But, at the same time, my older agastaches are suffering.. most aren't in bloom yet, especially in the back yard. I don't think I have ANY in bloom in the back yard.

But I do know that my Golden Jubilee Agastache are HUGE this year.. they're like over 3ft tall and they don't seem to be stop growing!!

That's great about your Golden Jubilee Agastaches!

I've noticed that the wild rabbits and bunnies have broken some of my Agastaches stems and/or chewed them. Blinking Crying Thumbs down

I've lost some others Agastaches, probably due to our past Winter we've had.

I meant the hummingbirds and the bees that feed from the flowers. They do smell fantastic!

I have two golden jubilees growing, one is half the size of the other and are just starting to get their flowers. Just. The taller one has to be about three feet tall. I didn't think they got so tall. The funny thing, though, is that the plants on one half of the bed are growing larger than the same ones on the other half. I don't know what that is all about. I have five sunset hyssop I grew from seed last year and they are all just starting to show signs of wanting to bloom, like the golden jubilee. I also grew the GJ from seed. I sowed many more seed than what sprouted, but I was glad that the two that did sprout grew into nice plants.

Last winter was really hard on my Black Adder, but its single stalk is blooming today, so I guess there's hope for it yet. Smiling
Sunset Yellow didn't return, but no great loss there. Getting my face down to ground level to see those teensy blooms hurt too much anyway. Whistling

I started it from seed last year, Marilyn.

Petite plant with itty-bitty blooms...but they were a nice shade of yellow. Just too small to appreciate in the areas I had it growing.
