Are these plants we can put in the database? I just found out that I have Fuligo septica (dog vomit slime mold) and I had NO idea what it was.. had to do some serious googling to figure out *what* it was. Think it would help others who may do what I did & panic that their yard is being taken over with something really nasty & disgusting.

Mold and fungi are not plants and that's why we don't include them in the database.

Maybe we could have a forum for them? A thread for each kind?

But we are All Thing Plants and they are not plants. (mold is actually a type of fungi)

Pictures could be posted in the ID Forum or Ask a Question forum for when we get the occasional question on these, members have fun trying to ID everything.

And when it is IDed, the thread name can be changed to the name of the fungi.
