I love stapeliads, especially Stapelia gigantea. Some people say the blooms emit a terrible odor. Others say they can't smell them at all.

I love your photos. I have one myself, but it seems to want to bloom in the fall and not the summer. Right now it's growing like gangbusters. I'm glad that someone else doesn't really smell it either. Keep up the good work.

Actually SongofJoy I'm in Buffalo, NY and I'm not really sure if they are day neutral plants or need the shorter days to initiate flowering. But the three flowers I did have were just a large as yours, it had a very faint scent, but it wasn't bad.
I should post a photo so you can see my baby. :)
