I stopped at Animal Control to check on little Tito. He has finished the waiting period an no owners came forward. He remains in the quarantine area so I was not allowed to look at him. Sometime between Monday and Wednesday the Veterinarians come through to treat the dogs. Tito will be checked, get all his shots, will be neutered and micro-chipped. At that point he will be available for adoption.

Um, and there was a huge sign in the lobby that read: "All Adoption Fees Are Waived Until August 8th".

Oh heck. I gave the clerk my name and number so I could have dibs to adopt him. Right now I am only on a waiting list, but...
