Bill Maryott has posted another picture of a gorgeous 2015 new introduction on his home page, and it looks like he's starting to update his general listing...

I would buy some, but they don't start shipping till June 15th. I wouldn't even get to see them bloom this year!

You'd be surprised. I've had the vast majority of plants from Bill bloom the year received. Even this year when I had the shipment arrive late I was getting scapes into October.

One year I bought from them and had some blooms in the fall.
I would really like them to bloom in the spring so I can hybridize more with them. Thumbs up

Betty,
Thank you so much for starting this thread. We probably would have missed some great daylilies at great prices had I not seen this thread tonight. I just submitted our rather lengthy list. We always have Bill to ship ours in mid September. We will no doubt add to our order when he starts his weekly specials.

I just placed my order yesterday, although for only four plants -- no space left! But I just had to get LOMA PRIETA and BETTY BOOP. And I was pretty amazed at how many plants he has for very reasonable prices! Some that caught my eye were BLUEGRASS MEMORIES, MISS PHOTOGENIC, MULBERRY LANE and NEW PARADIGM for $9; and PRECIOUS CANDY for $7. And there are lots in the teens too, such as VOILA FRANCOIS for $14 and XYLOPHONE JAZZ for $18. And he sends such wonderful bonus plants!

I always get my order from Bill Maryott in late June to early July, and usually 6-10 weeks later I will have blooms on some of them. My Maryott's order is always my summer daylily treat!

Oh, I agree on that front. I usually will have my order shipped as soon as they can though I am inclined to wait more for his specials since last year at least, if I reserved a plant and it was shipped after he lowered the price, he billed the lower price. Totally unexpected but a nice treat! Thumbs up

Just placed a small second order of some that I failed to add to the wheelbarrow. I have decided that we should have FOUR BEAST IN ONE shipped in June as soon as he begins shipping. We are hoping that we will get some blooms this summer and be able to use the pollen this summer instead of having to wait until 2016.

Didn't see this thread when I started one for the same thing! But you guys have me all excited about ordering from Maryott's. There are so many that I want, but like others, I am limited on space. A list of about 20 that I like must be pared down!

dormantsrule --- If you like Lotta Dotta (And for the record, I do too Lovey dubby ), you should check out Undefinable. Here's the link to the database: Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Undefinable')

Edited to add: At least in my mind those 2 would look fantastic side by side. ;)

Does anyone have a garden pics of Lotta Dotta? I took several of Undefinable@ Mecca last year but only have 1 of Undefinable on my computer at work. I like it because it shows the eye & edge that hides behind the albino/yellow tissue. Just wanted to see how it compares to the hybridizers website pics.

Jimiimijz, thank you for posting your picture from last year's Mecca. We have Undefinable coming in early April. We can see from your picture two blooms that have different coloring. We are looking forward to growing it and hybridizing with it.
