I showed this on lilies, but since you all know her here, it bears repeating, I think.

Debilu, her sister, and I went to Jo Ann's for a garden tour and lunch. I know everyone's seen pictures of her gardens, but in person they are simply amazing.

It really was beautiful, and Polly is right, the fragrance was wonderful. I just wish we could have stayed longer, had to run to the hospital.

Boojum.I would have the red lily beetle if I didnt spray religeously.
Spring emergence drench of Bayer 12 month Tree and Shrub
Mid summer Sevin.
I also spray for deer.
The deer problem here isnt as bad as other places ,I spray anyhow.

I had a few red lily beetles after spraying that I would hand pick, but I only have 1/4 of JoAnns lilies.

Thanks Allison,

Jo Ann's gardens are a joy, as is she. I've been to her home twice. The first time I was amazed at how large her gardens were. I'd seen pictures, but seeing the overall garden is quite amazing.
