My cattleya species in bloom for about ten days it is under stress as I have the plant for about 7 to 8 years .

The reason for that there is loss of fresh roots, plant is dehydrated . It is the beginning of dry season as we are in Southern hemisphere I hope I have explained to best of my knowledge.

Ah, yes, I understand now!

We had a spell of cold weather that brings with it very dry air also. I had all my old towels and pieces of cloth hanging wet around the orchids to help humidify them until the outdoor humidity returned.

We are back to normal "Florida" weather today, thankfully.

Please: Note that is not a hybrid ,it is a Sib Cross of Cattleya Jenmanii species, two varieties.

I would think you are talking about Cattleya jenmanii. Please note the spelling of the species.

Hopefully we see more of your Orchids? Have a look around, we have plenty threads to peruse and participate in.

Btw regarding the spelling of jenmanii, the species is written lower case j, the hybrid would be Jenmanii, capital J. as you wrote it.

Prabhi, I think Trinidad and Tobago are located in the Northern Hemisphere but nonetheless, you are very tropical and should be able to nicely grow warm weather orchids without the use of a greenhouse. Do you have pictures of your growing set-up?
