I have grown the Silver Princess from seeds and they did bloom for me the first year. I love them so much better than those big Alaskan ones. Mine come back each year, but they are spotty. For some reason there will be patches of them in different spots that return, but they are very inconsistent. I have to transplant from the returning patches to get them where I want them. I have waited a little too late this year I think to move them because they already have buds and should be blooming before long. They germinated very well from seed, the first year I planted them I ended up with way more than I had room for.

That's great to hear, Larry. I love Shasta daisies. I planted the Alaska one year and they bloomed beautifully the following year. That was it. They didn't come back again. They were nice, but I found them too tall and kind of floppy. I'm looking forward to the Silver Princess! Smiling

I love these daisies too, but I do warn you: Groundhogs love them. That usually means deer like them too...so be forewarned.

Glad that spring is arriving in the north of PA too....we still have chilly night temps, but it's definitely spring here now...grass is growing like crazy.
