last week i started the process of rooting a plumeria cutting.
the cut part will be in paper +nylon bag for two weeks as i read somewhere until the rooting process(i may try weeping willow liquid?)
my questions are 1.the cutting is in a dry weather where i live but i took it from where it should live (a humid weather) at this stage will it harm if i spray the poor leaves with water to humidify the plant or the plant will benefit from the spray?
2.is it important for the cutting to be vertical?

Did you let it callous before planting? I normally cut off the leaves to help it root faster. Water once and don't water again until leaves are out. It does not like wet feet. I use coarse well draining soil mixed with perlite.

I always plant mine vertical.

i dont know what callous means....i am waiting for two weeks for the cutting to dry or heal and then plant.shouldnt i let the leaves drop by themselves as the two weeks are passing?

I prefer to cut the leaves. The two weeks 'healing'is the same as callousing. I recommend vertical because otherwise the stem could get sunburned. No water until it has made new leaves, but misting is ok if your climate is very dry. Good luck!
