Some of the leaves on my Vitex are turning brown around the edges as seen in the picture. Any ideas about cause and/ or solution?

Those familiar with your climate should be able to suggest other, similar plants without an invasive issue if you have an interest in taking the discussion in that direction. If you're really attached to it, good vibes for recovery!

Many of us here in Texas grow Vitex here as an ornamental - similar to lilacs in the north. It does not seem to cause any problems.

Wow, today I was thrilled to find a blue Vitex growing a couple feet from my big one!
I've only had about 1 or 2 to ever do that. So not invasive here.
Of course I'm not in Texas, but pretty close!
