It has the original floors too and you can still see where the desks were bolted to the floor!

People have been stopping by that went to this school to tell us how happy they are that we're fixing it up.

One lady even sent her husband by with this picture that was taken in 1909!

Wow, Lee Anne! That is a treasure, that picture. Have it enlarged on canvas and framed so you can give it a rightful place in your home. I am thrilled for you. And you are doing a terrific job with the land around you, too.

You've found a real treasure! I'm so glad you made that move. Having the 3 of you together in one place had to be an adjustment, but it's great it's working out now.

We are going to sell our city home in Arizona, and move to our rural New Mexico place full time. We have no near neighbors, but are only half an hour away from a good sized little town. I love the peace and quiet, and living near all the critters. Our yard is full of deer, rabbits, elk, antelope, javelinas, skunks, bobcats and more. I've had a lot of my plants eaten, but some deer fencing will be coming soon.

Wowzers! I'm in awe, and I know, I know, "late to the party." I just popped in to read about the latest NGA announcement and had to click on a couple of blogs. Congrats to you and hubby, Lee Anne. That's a great place and I'm impressed how much ya'll have done so quickly. It's like a piece of Paradise to me.

I'm sure right now you might be snowed in and witnessing your first winter and all the wonders that come with it. Hope you have good heat and plenty of hot chocolate!
