Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Highland Pinched Fingers')

This is one of the greats. Everybody seems to love this plant. It thrives in my Zone 4b garden, and increases nicely. When I have occasional public sales, customers always want some of this one. A definite keeper!

I received HPF with my first Daylily order, from Earlybird Daylilies. It has performed fantastic, meets all registered stats, multiplies above average, and has a beautiful, glowing orange bloom. It is the first Daylily in a row, and I can see it driving home from work, just shining from hundreds of yards away. I believe I will always have HPF. I also took a shovel split off of it for a trade, and it filled back in by seasons end. The picture below is not its best, but it was taken late afternoon on a blistering hot triple digit day. You can see it had held up very well.

Very vigorous. Striking. Always reliable here in southern Ohio and I suspect much farther north. Large, imposing flowers.
