Chili Spice is an extra early bloomer with possible rebloom. It earned the Honorable Mention: 2007 AHS award. There are no registered children at this time.

I've had CHILI SPICE for three or four years and really love it! A scape is already appearing as of today, and I hope to have more. The plant is quite short in my garden, so I have it close to a pathway so I can really enjoy it. It's a keeper here!

I have had the cultivar for three years. It multiples well. The blooms are very attractive but on low scapes and I, too, have placed it close to a pathway. I have never had crispate blooms on it. It is susceptible to rust but it is not a rust bucket. It is not extra early here but flowers usually late October (second month of spring) and does rebloom. It is pollen fertile but I have never got pods on it. It does not appear to stop growing here during winter.
