While I have grown this plant for a few years, I cannot give a fair evaluation of its performance as it has been suffering in a 1.5 gallon pot all this time.
It performs as a dormant, here in my Zone 9 garden.
I will say that while the color stands out and is attractive from a distance, up close the blooms (which have a yellow-to-gold underlay) appear to be somewhat muddy (at least to
my eyes). That would make it a middle or back of the border daylily, in my book.
