As the creator of this plant, I can see from the pictures posted that Rebekah's Gothic Spider never looks the same in everyone's garden who ever purchased it from me. It is a great plant in the garden, very fertile, sturdy scapes, and I have never had the bloom wither or melt in hot sun. It's only downside is that it is a very slow increaser. I did notice this past summer though, that once I moved a small clump to an area that gets sun all day long, that it did flourish much better than in its original spot in the garden that got a half a day of shade. Seedlings from RGS have all been very different, depending on what she is crossed with. I currently have a seedling from RGS that has over 30 buds per scape, although I am not crazy about the color of the bloom. RGS is named after my oldest daughter and she also grows it in her garden. I am very interested in comments from others on how this plant grows in other gardens, whether good or bad. This seedling had 31 buds this past summer.
