Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Yabba Dabba Doo')

Because 'Yabba Dabba Do' is listed as a late bloomer, I was hoping to see a bloom last summer, but it didn't happen. I got it in late April from a club sale and planted it then. Foilage-wise, it grew just fine, but I wasn't blessed by a bloom in its maiden year. Presuming it survives the winter, I have hopes for next year!

I was hoping to see more responses to this plant. Mine did not bloom either til the 2nd full season, not a lot of blooms then. Not great the 3rd year (this year) 2020 will be the 4th year in my garden, it may leave if it does not improve. It is an interesting flower. Perhaps I will try moving it to a different spot before getting rid of it.

Wanted to add an update, bloom has not really improved. Not really a late bloomer either, more mid season here.
