Background history:

'Persian Pattern' is a dormant diploid introduced in 1966 by Hardy. No further information known about this hybridizer except that there are 215 registered daylilies under the name.

Persian Pattern is a mid-season extended bloomer. It is pod and pollen fertile with currently 15 registered children: https://garden.org/plants/pare...

Finally, one I still have and love. It blooms faithfully (even in the part shade), performs well and blends so beautifully with nearby daylilies. I don't even count the bud scars because its beauty is such an asset that I don't care if it has 6 blooms per scape or 16. It doesn't reproduce wildly but is a lovely plant.
