Your Lemon Chiffon Bloom is much fuller than mine has been so far, Mary. The yellow herbaceous any fuller than single seem to be much less hardy here than most, not sure what to think of that. This year will be the 3rd and 4th year most of mine have been in their current locations, hoping for a big bloom year!

Bartzella is such a gorgeous flower but has not done well for me at all. Got another from Solaris last fall, hoping it will prosper. Most of the Itohs I have here grow very well, that one and First Arrival have been the exceptions. I've started collecting more tree peonies as well, we'll see how that goes. I'm not sure I have the patience for them if they increase even slower than the herbaceous here.

Awesome yellow peonies, everyone! I really enjoy looking at them as I don't have that many yellow peony in my collection as of now. Some new ones are coming this fall. I can't post any pics at this time. My computer was hit with a virus this past month. Sad Sad Sad The virus screwed up my Wifi connection so that sometimes I can log on and sometimes I cann't. Whenever I tried to do anything that required alot of memory, the computer would crash. Waiting for DH to fix it.

Liz, my Bartzella that was planted in 2011 took years to do well. I hope your new one does well!

Karen, sorry to hear about your computer woes! I hope it's resolved soon, and I'm looking forward to seeing your yellows.

Annette that rose is Bonica. I love it.

Mary Stella, your Lemon Chiffon is beautiful.

Karen, I am sorry that your computer is acting up. I hope the Hubby fixes it this weekend.

Liz your photos are gorgeous! That Strawberry Blonde is nice. I don't think I've see it for sale.

Here is Claire de Lune.

Gorgeous picture everyone! Karen I hope your computer will be fixed soon.

I have 3 yellow peonies bloomed so far, all new. Prairie Moon and Bartzella were planted in fall 2015 and flowered in February 2016 at home:

Lg, check out http://www.lesjardinsosiris.co... for Strawberry Blonde. I placed a fairly large order with them for this fall, 5 Itohs and 4 herbaceous--3 of which had been on my "Wanted" list for quite a while. Shipping for the 9 roots was $50 and the phyto certificate was $60 (Canadian) so not terrible and their Itoh prices are pretty good. The Canadian growers are the only ones I've ever seen offer Strawberry Blonde; their pic isn't the best but the colors are right so probably it's the same plant. I haven't seen any of their roots yet but ASSUME (not always a safe thing to do!) that their original stock is probably the same as Select Plus.

Thanks for the info, Liz. I looked at their site and I will have to wait until I find enough there that I want to justify the shipping and phyto cert.!

I have yet to get a bloom on a yellow peony!
I have enjoyed seeing these pictures, and hearing that others have not had good flowering from Bartzella.

Liz, you will be pleased with Les Jardin Osiris. They have very goods roots, much better than Select Plus Lilacs!
I ordered several Itohs and a few herbaceous, very anxious to see them bloom next spring.
